Tarkine Fresh Oysters are produced by Tasmania’s award-winning company Tasmanian Oyster Company.
The Tarkine Fresh Oysters café is open from Tuesday to Saturday between 10:00 am to 3:00 pm during Spring (opening times and days change throughout the year) where you can enjoy a glass of selected premium Tasmanian wine or beer with a plate of natural or cooked oysters. Our freshly shucked oysters are harvested directly from the pristine estuarine waters of the Tarkine Wilderness area.
The Tarkine contains extensive high-quality wilderness as well as largely undisturbed tracts of cool temperate rainforest which are extremely rare.
The Tarkine area is renowned for having some of the cleanest air and rainwater in the world. With over 80 hectares (200 acres) of cool temperate waters to farm and fatten the premium Tarkine Fresh Oysters, you can assure an unforgettable tasting experience.
