This scenic trail winds from city to country, connecting small-scale producers, cellar doors, brewers and growers. From spirits and craft beer to honey, truffles, cool-climate wine and ice cream, there are plenty of reasons to pull over, taste something new and meet the makers.
Make a weekend of it: we recommend 2–3 days, staying at Springfield Deer Farm’s farm stay or among the vines at Meander Valley Vineyard.

41 South Tasmania
Just down the road, this inland salmon farm has self-guided wetlands walks, tasting plates and tours where kids can feed the fish and learn about sustainable farming. Georgie’s Café is ideal for a simple, farm-fresh lunch. 🍣
